How Is Color Controlled During Manufacturing?

Bulk Supply and Project Sourcing Checklist

Before placing a bulk order, confirm the approved color reference, finish, substrate, total project quantity, batch delivery plan and future replenishment requirements. Whenever possible, large facade areas should be planned by production batch to reduce visible transitions.

Storage conditions also matter. Caruns warehouse management specifies controlled storage at 5 to 30°C and 40 to 70 percent relative humidity, together with FIFO inventory management and retained batch samples.

For export projects, color consistency should be supported by product specifications, batch records, inspection documents and traceability. Stable color is not achieved by tinting alone.
