Diatom mud is an environmentally friendly interior wall decoration material made primarily from natural diatomaceous earth, featuring a unique microporous structure. It effectively absorbs and decomposes harmful substances such as formaldehyde, regulates indoor humidity, and prevents mold and moisture. Furthermore, through various application techniques, it can create rich artistic textures, fostering a healthy and comfortable living environment.

1. Air purification: Diatomaceous earth has abundant micropores, which can strongly adsorb harmful gases such as formaldehyde and benzene. Some products add photocatalysts, which can further decompose and purify the air, improving indoor air quality.
2. Humidity regulation: The porous structure can automatically breathe and regulate humidity, absorbing excess moisture when the air is humid and releasing moisture when it is dry, keeping the indoor environment dry and comfortable, and preventing condensation and mold.
3. Fire-retardant: Primarily composed of inorganic mineral materials, it has a high melting point and is non-combustible. It does not produce toxic fumes when exposed to open flames, meeting the national Class A fire safety standard and enhancing home safety.
4. Artistic Decoration: The material itself has a natural earthy color, which can be tinted with inorganic mineral pigments. Various application techniques (such as smearing, printing, and texturing) can be used to create rich textures and personalized patterns.
5. Environmentally friendly and healthy: The main components are natural inorganic minerals, free of formaldehyde, benzene, VOCs and other harmful substances, odorless, and ready to move in immediately after installation. It also features anti-static properties, dust resistance, and easy maintenance.

This product is mainly suitable for interior wall and ceiling decoration, such as in living rooms, bedrooms, studies, and children's rooms. It is especially suitable for homes, hotels, schools, kindergartens, and other places with high requirements for indoor air quality, humidity, and environmental protection.
1. Alkali-resistant primer: Apply a coat of special alkali-resistant sealing primer evenly with a roller to reinforce the substrate, prevent alkali return, improve the adhesion of diatomaceous earth, and prepare for construction.
2. Material preparation: Slowly add water to the diatomaceous earth powder in a ratio of 1: 0.8 or 1: 1, and stir with an electric mixer until it becomes a smooth paste without lumps. Let it stand for 10 minutes before use.
3. Base coat application: Use a trowel to evenly apply the diatomaceous earth to the wall, with a thickness of about 1.5-2.5mm, covering the entire work surface to form a smooth and dense base coat.
4. Spray coating: After the base layer is dry, use a special spray gun to spray the material evenly into dot-like particles to create a three-dimensional texture.
5. Surface smoothing: While the elastic coating is not completely dry, use a putty knife or smoothing trowel to gently press and smooth out any raised particles, adjust the texture, and make the coating
more solid and smooth.
6. Topcoat protection: After the coating is completely dry, apply 1-2 coats of topcoat paint with a roller to improve the surface's stain resistance and protect the overall coating.
