Dry Powder Shihuanu Features

1. Natural texture, outstanding results:  The coating retains its color over time and features the texture and grain of natural stone, offering a wide range of decorative effects that lend buildings a

sophisticated, natural aesthetic.

2. High strength and weather resistance, long-lasting durability:  Excellent resistance to aging and UV rays, the coating is robust with good crack resistance, enabling it to withstand wind and rain erosion over the long term and maintain a like-new appearance.

3. Breathable, moisture-resistant, healthy, and eco-friendly:  The inorganic coating features excellent microporous breathability, effectively allowing moisture to escape from the walls and preventing blistering and peeling. Additionally, the product has extremely low VOC content, making it environmentally friendly.

4. Strong adhesion and wide applicability:  It exhibits excellent adhesion to various common inorganic substrates (such as concrete, mortar, and drywall), making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

5. Easy to apply and highly stable:  Packaged as a dry powder, it is convenient to transport and store. Simply add water and mix on-site for immediate use. It offers consistent performance, high workability, and is easy to apply and shape.

Application

Suitable for the decoration and protection of interior and exterior walls in various types of buildings, such as concrete, cement mortar, brick walls, and drywall, and is particularly well-suited for projects seeking a natural stone texture.

Dry Powder Shihuanu Construction Guidelines

1. Primer Application:  On a suitable, solid, and clean substrate, apply one even coat of a specialized penetrating primer using a roller to seal the pores of the substrate, enhance the adhesion and integrity of subsequent coats, and prevent efflorescence. Ensure the primer is completely dry and cured after application.

2. Slurry preparation:  Using a mixing ratio of 1 part dry powder to 0.3 parts water, slowly pour the water into the dry powder. Mix with an electric mixer until a smooth, lump-free paste forms. Let it stand for 5–10 minutes to allow the mixture to set, then stir again before use.

3. First coat:  Apply the first coat of the mixed material using a stainless steel trowel, ensuring even coverage with no missed areas. Control the initial thickness and levelness to lay a solid foundation for the entire coating.

4. Second Coat:  Once the first coat is touch-dry (no longer sticky to the touch), apply the second coat, ensuring the coating is full and even. Blend it well with the first coat to avoid visible seams.

5. Texturing:  Before the second coat of material dries to the touch, use a wooden trowel to create natural textures—such as horizontal and vertical lines or stone-like patterns—by moving in circles, straight lines, or using specific techniques. Movements must be fluid to ensure the texture is uniform and continuous.

6. Topcoat Application:  Once the base coat is completely dry (2–3 days, depending on weather conditions), apply one even coat of the designated topcoat varnish using a roller. This enhances the coating’s stain resistance, UV resistance, and water resistance, while improving its gloss and texture.
